Product Showcase – Floral Hare

Today I am showcasing my newly completed floral hare. I love finding fabric like this and think it looks great on the hares, in particular.  There’s something about woodland animals that I am really drawn to and I love sewing them.  Hares and rabbits are always cute.Made from my own pattern the hare stands at 52cm high with a machine stitched body, arms and ears.  Everything else is hand sewn. The face is sewn with embroidery thread with thread details on the back of the hare’s arms.I’ve added a cute fluffy bobble tail to the hare which sits just above my Kiss the Frog x product tag.I don’t know why but this hare is a he, despite the floral fabric.  I love the way you can cross his paws, he’s definitely pondering something…..To finish of the hare I have dressed him in an antique gold ruffle and mounted him on a slice of wood. He looks rather fine, even if I do say so myself. The hare is available for sale on my website or in my Etsy shop.
