Saturday Safari

Next on the Safari are lions 14, 15, 16 and 17 on the Pride in Bournemouth trail map.

Lion number 14 is Firestar created by artist Natalie Guy and sponsored by Coles Miller Solicitors.  Coles Miller are also sponsoring Bournemouth’s band stand this year and you can enter your photographs of Firestar into their competition to win £100 Marks and Spencer vouchers.  You can find Firestar in Bournemouth gardens by the bandstand.

Lion number 15 is Feelgood.  Created by artist Lisa Berkshire and sponsored by Heart FM.  Sadly this lion has been so badly damaged that he has been removed from the trail at Pine Walk Art Gallery.  Heart FM will be sponsoring the creation of another lion during Bournemouth’s Air Festival this year.  Luckily we were able to photograph him before this happened and here is our tribute to this lovely lion 🙂

Kamien is lion number 16.  Created by artist Adam Klodzinski and sponsored by Metropolis Art Gallery.  Kamien is located outside Bournemouth’s Tourist Information Centre.

The last lion for today is Gallion in a Bottle, lion number 17 on the trail.  Created by artist Rishi Ludgate and sponsored by Wild in Art.  Gallion in a Bottle can be found in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth.
