Saturday safari

More beautiful lions to see on today’s safari.  We are visiting lions 18, 19, 20 and 21 on the Pride in Bournemouth‘s trail map.

Lion number 18 is Flower Power created by artist Angie Cougar and sponsored by Wild in Art.  Flower Power is located in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth.
Halo is lion number 19 and has been created by Extreme Team and sponsored by Bournemouth Fostering.  Bournemouth Fostering wanted to create an invisible lion that would disappear into the background to send the message that foster carers and people who look after children are invisible in our society and yet they are really very special.  Halo can be found in Boscombe Gardens.

Lion number 20 is Ted, created by artist Robyn Elderfield and sponsored by Tandi Creative Media.  Ted is located at Boscombe seafront.

Our final lion today is Shelly created by artist Carol Childs and sponsored by Caron Khan Media.  Shelly is number 21 on the trail map, but has been moved from Shelly Park to Shelly Park Medical Centre after being damaged.  He will be permanently located there until the end of the exhibition.
